On Tuesday this week Apple sent out invitations to the media for an event on 22nd October in San Francisco. It's highly likely that a new iPad and iPad Mini will be launched along with a possible announcement on OS X Maverics, and who knows what else.
As the wording on the invitations suggest there'll also be an update to the iPad's smart cover too - perhaps an integrated keyboard or something much more innovative and interesting.
Apple have sent invites to the press confirming the speculated 10th September event. At the event, taking place at their Cupertino HQ, Apple will likely announce the new iPhone 5S and possibly a low cost iPhone too.
Facebook have sent out invites to the media for an event they will hold on 20th June. Facebook have made a habit of holding events recently with the launch of Facebook Home on Android and the release of the redesigned timelines and graph search.
