It seems as though Call of Duty: Black Op 2 has been a massive success for the developers with them announcing a record $500 million of sales in just the first 24 hours.
Apple Announces Black Friday Sale
Apple have announced they plan to have a 'Black Friday' sale on 23 November.
This one day only sale has been quite a famous event for many retailers in the USA for some years but has yet to really gain momentum in the UK with only a handful of retailers offering the one day event - mainly Amazon and Apple.
There is no indication yet as to which products will be available in the sale and what discounts will be offered but it'll more than likely be around 10-15%.
The sale is available both online and in-store.
Black Ops 2 Released Around the World
The next instalment in one of the worlds most successful gaming series has now gone on sale around the world. Call of Duty: Black Op 2 was released first in New Zealand with subsequent countries releasing at midnight in their respective time zones. Over 16,000 retailers opened around the world for a midnight release.
The previous version, Black Ops, was the best selling in the Call of Duty series but Black Op 2 is expected to out sell this.
The sales figures will be closely watched by the industry as game sales have been falling over the year.

4G Launches in the UK (finally)
Everything Everywhere (EE), the company that owns Orange and T-Mobile have today launched the UK's first 4G mobile service.
A selection of 11 cities: Cardiff, London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Sheffield, Glasgow and Southampton with more cities coming online before Christmas.
The company's mobile tariffs start at £36/month on a 24 month contract, for this you get 500MB of data (which isn't much). For data hungry users there's a 8GB tariff which will set you back £56/month. All of their plans come with unlimited texts and calls which is pretty much standard across all networks now.
Unfortunately the UK's going to have to wait until probably mid-2013 before any other networks launch 4G. Lets hope 5G comes a bit sooner.
